New 20 Gallon Long

I'm thinking of setting up a 20 gallon long tank. I've researched a good bit, but I still have a few questions here's a list of what I've got so far that I will use. I want a mid-high planted tank I will use some c02 and I'm not sure of the lighting I could possibly do mid-high lighting.

Tank: 20 gallon long
Substrate: Flourite
Filter: Aquaclear 30 or Aqueon 20 (which is better suitted)
Heater: Aqueon 50w
co2: I have the Hagen CO2 kit
Plants: I plan on getting the assorted pack from peabody's paradise the 10 for $18; Water wisteria, Ludwigia repens, Scarlet temple, Mint Charlie, Hygrophila temple, Hygro Narrow, Moneywort, Bacopa, Pennywort, Baby tears, Water sprite
Root Tabs: Peabody's Boost Tabs
Decor: Piece of driftwood (can I use a piece that is usually found at petsmart near the reptiles? If I boil it, it should be ok)
Fish: Maybe a pair of rams or kribs, and some guppies. Open to suggestions.

I need help on lighting. So if anyone can help me out and let me know if all I've listed sounds good and what type of light fixture and bulb. I know at least 1.5 watts per gallon. Any fixture or bulbs recommended?

The 20 L is a low tank - about 12" high like the 10 gallon. But that's alright - you won't need quite as powerful lighting as a deeper tank. OIC, you're talking about light levels

I used an Aquaclear 30 and they're good. You might want to consider a Fluval U2 internal filter so you don't disturb the water surface too much. That's what I'm currently using, and I highly recommend it.

With 30ppm CO2, I think you're going to need some NPK and CSM+B fertilizer.

For lighting, from what I hear around here, I'd say to go with an LED fixture. I would recommend getting one that has a dimmer in case of too much light. I forget all the brands - maybe Satellite Planted+. I think that the white LEDs are the most important. Don't worry about the moonlight blue LEDs.

MY TANK: Planted 10g; 2 x 10W CFL; Fluval U2 internal filter; MGOCPM/black sand cap
