Question crab HELP

I'm not sure if this should go under "shrimp & inverts"? If so, can someone move I, thx. So my LFS has fiddler and red claw crabs, I really would like some in my planted tank. At the LFS they have no access to the surface, but everywhere I read says they need access to the surface. What confuses me is that at the LFS none are dead? So can they live full immersed?

Bump: Never mind. I just found out they need brackish water.

They need access to dry land to live a full life time. They will only live a short time (weeks or months) fully underwater.

You could get some Thai micro crabs - freshwater and fully aquatic. Their body is about the size of a pencil eraser.

Thx, but I think my boesemanis would gobble them up. I'll look for those next time I want to give them a snack
