NPT Dirt Tank

Been reading alot on NPT Dirt tanks this past week. Watched dozens of videos on setup as well.

Got a few questions that need answers to.

Help if you can.

Would NPT Dirt tanks be more better for 10-40 gallons tanks rather than 50-270 gallons tanks?

Do people keep these NPT Dirt tanks running year after year?

I got a buddy of mines and myself wanting to try it out. But maybe on a smaller scale first to see how things goes...

I dirted my first tank almost 2 years ago and get pretty good growth. I havent added anything other than metracide and have a two fixture 24" 6500k t8's that i made on a 28gal bowfront. Lights are on 7 hrs a day and i trim once every 2-3 weeks and the plants are still growing healthy. To creat depth i put layers of flat shale in the back and mixed the MGOPM with 100% natural kitty litter and pool filter sand to help prevent anerobic activity and i havent had any gas yet.
