Rotala rotundifolia - is this normal?

I recently see my Rotala rotundifolia have 2-3 side shots on the top. Is this normal growth for rotala?

Yes it is normal. Stem plants often branch. The stems in the photo are healthy.

That happens when they are reaching the surface and they have more light available. Looks healthy...
