Aquarium Lighting

I currently have a 40 cube, I've had it set up for about a month and a half. I have 6 tiger barbs and about 7 stems of anacharis in the tank right now. My lighting setup for the tank is 2 50w LED flood lights which was part of a DIY project. Is the lighting be enough for the plants? I have parts of the anacharis turning brown.

Anacharis is a "floating plant". Any part of it that you put into the sub will turn brown
as will some of the stem just above the sub.
Just taking a guess at what's going on here.
Try getting a few stems of Ludwigia. Ignore the old growth and focus on any new growth.
After it gets about 2" of new growth you can get someone to tell you if the light is
adequate/better/lots better by the new growth. Keep track of how long that takes also.
In the first 3-7 days it will stand up compared to how it was when you got it. This is not actual growth.
During this time it is growing new roots and straightening up towards the light.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight the opposite direction...
