Reccomend a Nano Tank Heater

Did my search in the nano section and came up with :

Cobalt Aquatics Neo-Therm 75-Watt with Plastic LED & Titanium Heater

Just wondering if there are any other options. Preferable under $40.

I have a 4gal with a betta. Tonight I got home and my tank that is usually around 78-80F dropped to 75F. I had an old small betta bowl heater that you put under the gravel and it worked up until now. It wasn't horribly cold today so, I can only think that the bowl heater crapped out on me.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty big heater for a little tank if you do a search on e bay there are nano heaters for good prices I just ordered one for my Betta tank
Rule of thumb is 3-5 watts per gallon

That Cobalt Aquatics plastic one was actually what came to mind when I saw the title of this thread. I remember they're really well reviewed on Amazon. They come in smaller sizes (25w and 50w) and 75w would be a bit of overkill for a tank that small.

Do not get a Whisper HT Submersible heater, they're garbage.

My mistake, I meant to copy the 25 watt title.

Amazon has the 25watts for $47. I dont think I will be spening that much on a tiny heater...

I think I narrowed it down to the EHEIM Jager Aquarium Thermostat Heater 25W or Hydor 25W Submersible Aquarium Heater. Im just concerned about the size of them. My tank is 10x10x10 and substrate is about 1.5" high...

i can help you with that. just went threw this with my 20x20x20cm (~7.5") tank and i will say just pony up for the colbalt neotherm. i bought a 50watt eheim local to hold me over till i got a better one during the first cold wave and it didnt stand up so it was basically laying across the tank. also notice the tank water would fluctuate between 76-79f between its on and off.

when i got the neotherm its so much more discrete and keeps the temp of the water 77.5-78.5 and would
