Question fish in tank.

Hi. I have a 29 gal tank. Tetras, guppies pelca, kulie loach in the tank. Small fish except the pelca is around 8 inches. i would like to have some larger fish to look at in the tank. Is there any type that would be a good tank mate for this tank. I had Angel fish they were kind of mean to the others.

A pair of pearl gouramies, or, two female kribensis cichlids (a breeding pair might wreak havoc in that tank), or, a pair of rams.

Kribs are beautiful , rams get pretty aggressive while breeding protecting eggs/fry not to sure that's a good option

Do you mean Pleco? At 8" this fish is WAY too big for a 29 gallon tank. Return it to the store.

A 29 gallon tank is not a large tank. I would stick with fish that do not get much over about 2". Maybe 3" if they are calm or sedentary fish.
Pearl Gourami is a good choice. Large, but slow moving, mostly just hang around near the top of the tank.
Most Anabantoids (Gouramis, Bettas, Paradise Fish) are territorial, and can get aggressive toward related species. Pearls are usually among the more peaceful of Anabantoids, but still, I think I would just keep one in a 29 gallon tank. Not a lot of room for a lower ranking fish to get out of the way of an attack.

Totally agree with Diana on the pleco. It would also help to know what tetras you have. There's quite a difference between, say, an ember tetra and a congo tetra.
