Hi! Just thought I'd share these shots of my cherries. I am slowing the breeding down for the winter as shipping them in these conditions would be too life threatening! I'm more than happy with the thickness, colours and sizing of these and I'm looking forward to breeding some King Kongs next.
I drop the temperature slightly and it slows their metabolism/hormones etc down, as well as slow releasing foods they are fed during winter (almost like switching to wheatgerm for your pond fish!). They are fat and happy haha, they're fed well and water parameters are always checked hence their lovely colours!
WOW that is some happy looking cherry's. What do you feed them?
