Ok so heres the problem out of now where and its been a month i have algae on some crypts that have been fine with my new 36" t5ho on my 40b only running two bulbs at a time 18" from substrate 6500k for 8hoirs all water parameters or in check and my co2 is at 1bps, and then today i found a snail on my drift wood and have yet to ID. I am going out of town for a week come wesnday and need to know if its good or bad

The algae is the stringy hairy thing between two leafs on the crypt

The snail is a Malaysian Trumpet snail. Usually considered a beneficial snail as they burrow through your substrate, aerating it.

I believe your algae is Cladophora, though I could be wrong.
