Glued java moss keeps dying

I have some java moss that I've kept in a container for like 3 weeks without doing a thing to it and it's still perfectly green. If I let it float in the tank or something, then it stays just fine. BUT if I glue it onto driftwood, it turns brown within a week or two -_- It's really frustrating. Why is this happening?? The super glue I'm using is loctite gel glue.

Ditch the glue and try tying it in place see if it makes a difference if that don't work you might be lacking penetration of light to bottom of your tank

I have never had to glue moss. It grows all over on it's own. It doesn't float so a piece of thread or rubber band might do it easier.

Thanks I'll try that instead and see what happens.

Mine does float! The day I got the moss, I didn't have time to do anything with it, so I put it in the tank and the whole gob (there was a lot of it) just floated. I left it for about a week because I liked the way it looked - kind of like a floating island but then I decided I wanted to do other stuff with it. But I am gonna try some fishing line for now instead of glue
