Thinking of combining my tanks (92g and 29g). Thoughts?

Good afternoon all,

For the last couple of months, I have been feeling the negative effects of Multi Tank Syndrome, and questioning whether or not I should simply combine my tanks into one. I feel like instead of two decent tanks, I could put all of my energy into one tank. The real question is, what stays and what goes?

My absolute favorite fish species are the Congo Tetras, CPDs and Emerald Rasboras. I keep both tanks around 75 degrees, and the pH levels are close.

Thoughts?

I would be concerned that the Congo Tetras get so much larger than the little CPDs and Dwarf Rasboras.

Keep the set up as 2 tanks.

That was definitely one of my initial concerns. My thinking is that the Congos tend to stay in the middle/upper parts of the water column, while the Rasbora species tend to stay in the lower/bottom areas.

I've actually had more success with shrimp in my 92 with the larger fish than the 29 with the smaller due to this.
