Bare bottom tank

About to set-up a bare bottom nano tank with desk lamp. What plants would be good and have any ideas?

Found some little round containers that I had and filled them up with floramax that I had put in some clippings from my 10g and a small piece driftwood.

I have 3 bare bottom tanks ,I use tarcota clay pots from home depot and fill them with my subrate. My 100g houses Flowerhorn and I only have a couple large rocks on the bottom

I spend a decent amount of time looking at tanks and all the bare bottom planted tanks I've seen have potted plants. I don't really think having to pot plants limits what kinds of plants you have.

I'm thinking Mosses.. They don't need a substrate.
Subwassertang is cool looking,
Maybe just get a few small pieces of driftwood or some small lave rock and get some xmas or Phoenix moss, Flame moss is pretty cool also.

Having a bare bottom tank makes cleaning super easy ,guess it just depends on the look you want.
