tank overflow and level

Hi,

This morning when i doing the water change, i forget the water is at on and the water overflow on the floor.

So i have some water under the tank the and garden mat. Do i need to do something ? I remove all water with towel than i can.

The second question is, my tank is not on level. The water level is different on both side by 3/16. When i setup it, i think it be about 0,5mm but maybe the weight accentuate it. My stand is on MDF 4 panels + structure of 2x4. The floor is not level, i put some shim under the tank already.

The tank is ADA with 8mm glass.

You shouldn't shim the tank you should shim the stand.

That little bit out of level is not usually a problem.

Ditto Bruce: Shims should go under the stand, make the stand as level as possible. Level bubble touching the line is pretty close! Most of mine are about like that. None are farther out of level than that. Yes, adding water can alter the level. If it goes out of the tolerance range (level bubble within the lines) then drain and re-level.
Tank sits flat on the stand, perhaps with a thin cushion. I use Styrofoam sold for insulation, but I think that is kinda thick. No shims under the tank itself.

That little bit of un-levelness is fine. The more important thing is that the tank is flat on the top of stand, which it looks like it is.
