red cherry shrimp chronic death

ive stocked 20 each cherry shrimp in two different established planted community aquariums and the shrimp die 1 or 2 at a time over the course of a couple months. water is hard, inject co2, fertilize ei, weekly 40% water changes. thought problem might be source and purchased separate batch from other dealer to no avail. chloramines in water but treat at double dose prime. of the 60 cherry shrimp purchased over the last year one is alive and doing well. amanos are present and fine in each instance. any ideas? would like to have a self-sustaining population of shrimp and any help appreciated.

need a bit more info..

injection schedule and bpm
fert amount

more shrimp specific..

tank temp
what kind of filter you're running

it's really hit or miss when you have an established tank for fish and plants.. then you throw some shrimp into the mix. Sometimes they thrive sometimes they don't.
