Exclamation Water Backing Up Into CO2 Hose ..

im a little worried about something guys...
newly set up co2 system ...
seems water is backing up into the airline through the diffuser (when regulator is off). should i be worried? the check valve is in place but it still worries me.

Check valve isn't working if water is getting past it...

sorry - i probably described that wrong ...
its getting into the section of hose between the diffuser and check valve, not after the check valve.
the green section in the image would be where the water is ..
the red circle would be the check valve ...

its ok mine does that. you can move your valve up closer in the line if you want

as the co2 is off it still leaves some in the line and as this goes into solution its pulled out of the line and replaced by water right up until the valve stops it. when co2 comes on water is pushed back out w gas

It's just water pressure, gravity and to some extent, gas absorption moving the water in the line. You only need be concerned if it gets past the check valve.

Thanks so much guys!! I was freak'n out there for moment!
With it not being uncommon, I'm surprised to see that some people don't bother to use a check valve! Or at least rather have read a few times that some guys go without it.
