How big of low light simple tank can I have?

I'm still working on planting my 20 gal I want to keep things very simple. Low light and so far just som floating plants and anubias that I can just tie on things.

Do I need to use fertilizer with what i've got? I know if I plant stem plants that I can use root tabs. I'm so new at this

I saw an add in our local shopper that someone was selling aquariums and as it turns out we graduated from high school together not quite 20 yrs ago! I would love to have a bigger tank to have more fish and of course more plants!

So keeping things simple i'm perfectly happy with my hob filter and heater stuck to the back wall and factory hood with low lights. How big of a tank can I have and still keep things that simple?

Thanks

No, you don't need fertilizer. Maybe if you see slow grow and want to help speed it up a tad, a few root tabs in the substrate might help. Otherwise, your tank is fine as is.

And as far as size...the sky's the limit! There is no maximum tank size where you can keep things simple.

He's got several bigger tanks that I might be able to afford next month!

I'm excited! But we'll see as being a single mom there's always something that needs paid for.

lol
