Pink worm in fresh water tank?! Help!

Hey guys

I've got a friend with a bit of a worm problem here's a photo it! Can anyone identify it and is it harmful? What causes this?

Ebola imho.

Most free-swimming worms in tanks aren't parasitic. It looks a lot like a bloodworm to me but I don't know worms too well so...

When I set up my first dirt tank, there was an earth work that was peeking out for a while. Until I removed it. earth worm

Earthworm, perhaps? What's the substrate?

It's eco substrate I think.
