OH NO! FUNGUS!!! need advice

Well, I noticed a fungus on my female guppy in my 20g today and then noticed a little bit on one of my glolight tetras. I removed the 2 with signs of fungus to a QT tank, I put some salt and some PimaFix in the water.

I'm wondering if I should dose the main tank as a preventative measure? Maybe even a half dose? Does pimafix have adverse effects on shrimp?

Also....the female guppy came from PetSmart.....she's been here almost a month so I don't know if she brought the fungus with her, but it reminds me why I don't do PetSmart fish usually....oy.

Anyway.....all suggestions and input are more than welcome. Thanks.

I dosed Pimafix into my main tank for like 1-2 weeks everyday and the shrimp were fine. The fungus/cotton on my boraras merah one day just disappeared. Not sure if it was the Pimafix that did it or not.

Well the guppy didn't make it but the tetra is hanging in so far, I haven't seen signs on anyone else in the main tank, would it be wise to dose it preventatively or should I leave well enough alone?

I'd love input on this!

Thanks!
