Assassin Snail?

Would it be wise to buy one or two assassin snails for a newly set up 7.5 gallon heavily planted tank? I know they are great for devouring unwanted snails, but do they reproduce rapidly like MTS, and do they have a large bioload?

Would it be beneficial for my tank's ecosystem to have a snail?

Assassins do breed, but do not breed quickly like MTS do.

As for benefits, assassin snails are primarily carnivores, so they'll clean up uneaten fish food, but won't do a very good job cleaning up algae.
