Tabs

Swords are big root feeders, and I was just wondering if it would be a worthy effect if I purchased root tabs for red ruben and kleiner bar swords. I wasn't sure if the Fe in the tabs would help bring out their red colourations. If the red isn't going to be benefitted, there's not really a point.

My vote is a strong yes, and I also recommend WonderGro tabs from www.GreenLeafAquariums.com My kleiner bar is flowering for the 3rd or 4th time in as many months.

Definately yes.

The plant will benefit from additional nutrient and iron supplied from the root.
The root tabs also rich in minerals and elements such as calcium which usually not well supplied when just using regular liquid fertilizers.

sometimes you'd be awed about how big swords can be (full sized torpedo barb for comparison)

I just added a REd Rubin to my tank yesterday. It is so beautiful. I have a good substrate and I also dose excel, flourish and trace. would I still need root tabs do you think?
