All things must come to an end...

*Sigh*

As you might have noticed, I have been a ghost on this forum since April. With 2 internships and a class, the summer was hectic. With yet another internship and being back at Michigan, I am getting destroyed. I had to sell the tanks.

Goodbye 90, I hardly knew ye. Goodbye 55, we had good times. Goodbye 10's, you started me on this madness.

So, now all that's left is a 20 Long in emersed purgatory and a 10" cube all lonely in the closet.

While I'm not quite quitting the hobby, the level of involvement has dropped immensely. It's kind of sad, but the next stage of my life is uncertain (I'm a senior and not sure if I'm doing grad school / where I'm relocating for work), and having moved that 90g up a flight of stairs, it's just unreasonable.

I'll still be around, just not much. Oh, and I'm gonna sell/give away a ton of gear soon, so be on the lookout for that. I have not been very good about keeping up with it, so I need to make sure I have the time to remember what to ship out.

I'm sure one day, I'll be back, with a tank of ridiculous proportions

Hm, no time for aquaristics, that's always sad. But you need to have priorities, and life is long. Someday you will hopefully be able to fully get back into the hobby.

And sorry you have such a crappy football team...

Personally, I think Rich Rod is dirt bag who doesn't belong here, but that's another thread. Good thing I didn't buy season tickets this year.

Sell me ur extras!!

Nah just kidding. I hear u man. I have to get ready for med school which is on a far away island and I won't be home for at least 2 years. So I feel for u. Maybe u can opt to go for a ADA mini M with all the trimings so u can at least kinda feel connected to the hobby.

I'm not a doctor in real life but I play one on this forum

Well just make sure you don't totally vanish!!!

I'm sure that you'll find some time and space in your life for at least one little tank somewhere... just something to keep ya happy.

...as I was eyeing the 6-way regulator... I'm sure I'll be back in the game one day, just not for a while. And of course, I'll be keeping a tank around. It's a lot of money and upkeep, and something just changes in you after you push a 90 gallon tank up a flight of stairs...by yourself. (Yes, you read that correctly.)

Awww....

Consider keeping the 10 inch cube for a Betta and some Java moss to keep you company while you hit the books!

Good to know your limits. I do think a finger kept in the fish bowl might continue to soothe the savage beast. Like Sockfish said, low tech and simple! Good luck with your studies!

Just keeping on keeping on....
