Quick question about DIY CO2

I made a DIY co2 last night using 2 2 liter bottles following the 2cup sugar tsp baking soda tsp yeast (I used highly active yeast)

My question is how long does it normally take before you see bubbles?

I made a regulator out of a medicine syringe and a check valve sealed together and haven't seen a bubble yet its been about 12 hours. I'm probably just in a hurry to see if my efforts worked

Should take about 12-18 hours. I'm guessing you mean a bubble counter made of the syringe and check valve? Try removing it and sticking the end of the tubing in a cup of water. See any bubbles?

depends on the amount of yeast and sugar you used usually 1 to 2 days before it starts really crankin, unless your seal isnt that great and its leaking, but just wait it out a bit

Send a message via AIM to confuted
Check the expiration date on your yeast, and recheck those seals. Put your ear by the bottle and you can hear if the yeast is doing anything.
