Elite Mini Placement

I was wondering if anyone had any input on where in the tank I should put my diffuser. I mean this vertically- it is underneath a powerhead right now so the powerhead blows the bubbles around even more than the filter, but I was wondering if it mattered it it was at the bottom, or somewhere in the middle or something? Its a pretty heavily tank but I have decent water movement, if that helps.

The lower it is in the tank, the more time the bubbles from the diffuser have to dissolve.

ditto. also putting it below the flow allows it to dissolve more and have an even better dispersion. but youve got that covered

I've actually heard that people have better luck putting them in the low-middle of their tank. I'm not sure why, but that seems to work for most people, even amano.

That's also where I put both my mini elites.

well the inlet is on the bottom IIRC, so that may be why you cannot have it directly on the bottom?

thanks guys. Yeah there was a thread I found on here another time (but couldn't locate again) that said a few members were adamant about having it near the middle, but I don't know.

and fyi- you can turn it sideways and it still works
