Do You Have Any Idea How to Recreate This?

I was just wondering, does anybody know what plants or equipment might have been used in the aga 2nd place winner biotope aquarium. It amazes me how beautiful it is. Thanks,

#65 "The Asian Mythology"?

Probably lots of ferts and CO2, and careful plant placement. A lot of that tank is thick moss and java ferns mounted on a hardscape of wood branches that are pretty much hidden now. Then different groups of stems with an array of color and texture all around the back, trimmed to compliment the overall shape, and glossostigma and eleocharis in the front.

^ that?

Chong's Wabi-Kusa? Check APC. He has a thread about it there...or maybe here too. A bunch of soil, some locally collected plants, guppies, and locally collected shrimp. Check out the thread.

Der, may bad, I just caught he biotope part.

Well, Aurora, now you know what Wayne Sham did too.

Chong's Wabi-Kusa is insanely cool, I also like the "Permeate worlds" with the branches coming out, two very different approaches than everything else.
