Arrow What is this drop checker fluid?

I got the $8 drop checker on ebay. It came with "co2 testing" fluid. The fluid is orange. I know its not bromothymal (sp?) blue. Is it 4dKH solution?

It must be the testing reagent.

The DKH solution is available at Green Leaf Aquariums.

Well, what does the testing reagent do? I thought that you needed the 4 dkh solution and bromothymal blue...

I have the same thing. It is testing reagent and I assure that when you put it in solution it will turn out to be what you are looking for. It turns to blue instantly in 4dkh water.

Actually, it is blue at a ph ABOVE 7.

Below 7 is where it begins to transition to yellow.
