Excel Dosing for bga

I finally got some excel to dose for the bga in the 125 gallon tank. I put in the recommended amount for the tank, but if I am using it to blitz algae should I dose more?

Thanks!!!

I had some BGA in my tank too. I use a syringe to dose it normally, so I just took that and squirted it directly on to it. I just did the normal daily dose directly on it instead of where I usually squirt it. No overdose needed, and I killed it.

Turn off you filter and dose directly on the affected area. You can dose up to 2x the normal dose unless you have plants or fish that are harmed by excel. Wait 5 or 10 minutes and turn your filter back on. You want to stop the water flow so the excel will stay around the affected area for a few minutes.

I didn't think Excel would have much affect on BGA. It is however a good way to eradicate BBA.
