can i run the air pump and co2 at the same time?

can i run the air pump and co2 at the same time? using one diffuser and a splitter?

Bump: for better co2 diffusion?

Are you talking about using an airstone with CO2? If you're increasing the concentration of CO2 above the natural balance of the tank then you should be trying to decrease surface agitation and gas diffusion.

What you are describing will not improve CO2 diffusion. Just stick with CO2 injection.

Not to mention, the pressure from your CO2 tank will likely blow your air pump diaphram off. At the very least, your air pump won't be able to pump against the CO2 pressure.
