Tank dosing while on vacation

Hello All,

Is there a dosing timer in the market which can be used to add fert liquids in case you go on vacation.Similar to food timers. How many days can plants last with our liquid ferts dosage and water change.I am pllaning to go on leave for 20days and there is no one in the house.I have a auto top off setup.

Thanks,

Drop your lighting now, start to slow down on the CO2. Don't dose and don't inject during your vacation. Low light levels too.

Meaning do not dose c02 and switch off lights.I have ph controller so that control the dosage of c02 and ph.

I believe epicfish means to reduce the intensity of your lights and maybe the duration they are on each day. When you do that, reduce the bps of your CO2. This will cause your plants to use less nutrients as they will grow slower.

You want to turn off the CO2, reduce your lighting by about half, and cut the photoperiod to 5-6 hours. Doing this, you will not need to dose during that period of time.

dosing can easily be handled by a toms aqualifter pump on a digital timer connected to a container full of a concentrated fert mixture.

people have used iv drips and all sorts of things.

automated fert dosing really isnt hard at all, you just need to figure out the concentration of ferts in the solution and the length of time your pump will run to produce enough MLs of the solution to dose the right amount.
