How to tell a tank's brand?

Might be a silly question... but I bought a used tank recently have no idea what brand it is. Is there any way to tell what brand it might be? may logos or a name underneath the tank or something?

Or is it something I'll never find out lol

Not sure about the newer tanks but Oceanic did put a logo label on theirs. (Another member here told me where to look for it in another thread) I found it on mine but it was barely on. It's gone now so I doubt you could tell. None of my tanks have any manufacturer's names on them which is really dumb in my opinion.

If your the manufacturer with a warranty on the product it's GENIUS. It's all a matter of perspective.

Most brands are made by the same two manufacturers. Perfecto makes Marineland and Tetra products and Petsmart's Grreat Choice, All Glass Aquariums/Aqueon is the other. Not really sure about Top Fin. I believe there are different outer dimensions for the Aqueon tanks, so that might help you out.

That may be true today but I have tanks older than most on this forum.

I have an old All-Glass Aquarium brand tank and it almost looks like the name was etched into the glass on the back panel I believe. I though it was a smudge and I couldn't get it off and then noticed it was writing. It is really faint but still legible.
