Mold growing on rocks....problem?

i'm new to planted aquarium. last sunday i set up my new 45gal. it has 4 large rocks that to me sort of look like the red lava rock, less pourous but also they are light grey in color. bought at a local fish store.

i have already added several plants and have (2x) 36 watt lights http://ahsupply.com/36-55w.htm on 10 hours a day. other than normal gravel and about 7liters of amazonia sand thats it.

this morning two of the rocks had alot of grey color mold growing on them. it looks exactlly like the mold you get when you leave something in the fridge too long.

since i am new to a 100% planted aquarium with good lights...ferts etc i'm kind of baffled why its growing. other than some prime and bio-spira i have added nothing to the water yet.

just in case it could be a symptom of a more serious issue i thought i would ask if i should be concerned? or should i just scrub it off and not worry about it?

Pull it out, scrub. Boil for 30 minutes. Add to your tank. You'll be fine.
