Ebay, never a problem so far; knock on wood.

The wheel turns.

Bought from here, they have a 14 day arrive alive stay alive guarantee. They do plants as well.

3 otos, 3 false Julie corys, 3 albino corys

All alive when they got here, packaging was a Styrofoam cooler inside a cardboard box, fish in their individual bags of water were surrounded with packing peanuts, and there was a hot/cold pack in the container. They only ship overnight, Saturday delivery depends on if it's available in your area and is an extra $15, otherwise they ship Monday thru Thursday. The facility is in CA. and shipping is about $30 if I remember correctly.

I get most of my fish from auctions held at my local club meetings or from breeders I met through the meetings. There are some on wishlists that I may consider ordering online at some point, but for now I'm content with what I've found from local club members.

I used to pay a lot for fish from high quality LFS in my area. But now I just buy from club auctions or trades. If I wanted something in particular in the future, I would contact an importer from one of my clubs. Sf bay area fish communities are great

Got fish twice from live fish direct. The first was a large order. they packed too many fish in one giant bag. Second time was a small order and it was fine.

Guess it would be good if I wanted a fish I couldn't find.

I've had great results with Aquabid, bought at least 50 fish and a couple dozen shrimp with no DOA's, great selection of rare and unusual specimens as well as the 'normal types; most sellers include 'extras' and I find dealing with hobbyist sellers to be easier and the fish have been shipped with better care and condition then the commercial online sellers. Have gotten some great deals.

Try it, it's like Ebay for fish. : )

Yup, all the time...just spend some time looking around. You'll need to know the species name in some cases... http://www.aquabid.com/
