Ambient Light and Co2

Hi everyone!

My high tech tank gets aprox. 25% - 35% ambient light during the day. Here is my question: Do i need to turn on my Co2 early? i mean as soon as my tank gets the ambient light, normally i turn on my C02 2 hrs before the lights turn on.

I find it hard to imagine what 25-35% ambient light is like - is it indirect sunlight? Artificial (room) lights?

You might be able to keep your CO2 schedule as it is now, without making any changes.

I would not count it towards your photoperiod.

You may notice that the side facing the window gets more algae than the side that does not, however.

On another note, a very nice aquarium stand.

Ambient Light and Co2

Only time I have had to change it earlier is middle of summer here when sun comes up at 4 am lots of light but still not direct on the tank and I would get bba if it wasn't on early enough. I see my plants build up bubbles under the leaves in the morning before lights on just because ambient and my under 5 par moon light.
