hygrophila corymbosa kompakt, this plant grows gorgeous new leaves regularly in my tank, nice shape and size and light green in color as I would hope for. Sadly a week or so later holes begin to plague the new leaves. eventually (not long) the holey leaves will fall off.

My other plants don't have this same problem, at least I can't tell. I am pretty sure this is a potassium deficiency. if I am wrong please correct me. I am planning to increase my dose going forward but wanted some pro advise. Maybe its another problem I am not aware of?

They are fairly heavy root feeders, and from what Ive read are also quite the potassium hog. I keep mine juiced up w/osmocote+ tabs. They always seem to thrive in both my tanks regardless what else it going on.

so does this mean that plants specific uptake is soo substantial that its leaving like none left in the water column?

so like if i double up on my dose I should be good?
