Plants and resin based decorations

Will plants attach to artificial decorations like they would with natural driftwood? Such as if you tied an Anubias nana to a piece of driftwood for it to grow.

I know moss will attach itself to resin ornaments in a tank, anubias not so much because when an anubias attaches to real driftwood it actually "roots" itself into the driftwood with it's rhizome.
