Anacharis Question.

i have a Ton of anacharis, and the way i understood it it was not a rooting plant. But i have some that have put out roots! This is a Pic of the roots any ideas?

as far as i new it was a rooting plant. but i never payed it much attention, as i find it ugly.

They send out roots to keep them anchored into the substrate. It is not a big mystery. It is a stem plant still that prefers to float and the roots will dangle from the plant and then into the substrate so it doesnt get washed away.

Thanks for the info all i guess maybe it put out roof cause i had it planted in the substrate. thats my best guess anyway!
