Freezing White Worms

I have way more white worms than my fish can ever eat. I have been collecting them in mass and freezing it for future use. I probably have close to a pound of this stuff stored away in the freezer.
My question is: does the nutritional value go diminish when frozen?

if they are packed alive into good quality freezer bags with all air squeezed out, they should retain their nutrition for several months in the freezer. Gut loading the worms 24hrs prior to freezing with a highly nutritious food will increase their food value. I've never kept white worms so I don't know what they eat specifically, but, when I kept reptiles I used to gut load crickets and mealworms by adding fresh fruit/veg to their container, sometimes adding vitamin and calcium powders, too. My reptiles, and in your case, your fish benefit from both the worm and its last meal.

Thanks for the informative response. The worms are submersed in a glass of water. I wait for them to expel all the excrement before rinsing and freezing. Not sure if doing that is a good or bad thing.
