Ich Heat and African Dwarf frogs

I have tetras and African Dwarf Frogs in a Community Tank. I have read on here that if I turn up the temperature to 86 degrees, the Ich will slowly die off. My question is:

Is that too hot for my African Dwarf Frogs? Will they perish a slow sad death?

I also have assassin snails and Julii Cory Cats. I am guessing the assassin snails will be fine?

Frogs in general are more sensitive to a lot of things. I would set them up in a separate tank for the duration of the treatment.

Yes, Ich may die out if you can keep the temperature up. This means all the way to the bottom of the substrate, if it is an open substrate like gravel that the Ich might fall through. There is a strain of Ich that is tolerant of the heat.

I would add a UV sterilizer to this treatment.

Snails probably fine.

Cories probably fine.

Make sure you increase the water movement at the surface to increase the aeration.
