Back from vacation - resisted the urge to go SW!

I'm back from a week in Santa Rosa Beach, FL (near Destin). I spent a lot of time at the beach and remembered why I wanted to be a Marine Biologist when I was a kid! Snorkeled a lot and caught all kinds of critters. I wish I would have taken pictures.

Special finds included a moon snail (super cool) and what I believe was some kind of goby (black with hot pink stripes on his sides). He swam around me for a long time before I caught him. I also found tons of lettered olive snails, hermit crabs, assorted bivalves, and caught a ton of really cool minnows. I even snagged a 9" white flounder in my net.

I was so tempted to hit up Home Depot and grab a couple of 5G buckets for some of that beautiful white sand and seawater so I could bring my critters home. But I figured I have enough on my hands with all my FW and my one brackish tanks. Plus, I knew my wife would probably kill me!

So back to planted tanks for now
