Flame gourami and red moly - safe for planted tank ?

My LFS gave me flame gourami and red moly for my plannlted tank. . Love its fire red colors.. I am sure they are peaceful but i am worried if they are safe for planted tank ?

These ones:

Flame gourami

Red moly:

I believe flame gourami makes bubble nests. . Will it break leaves and uproot plants to make nests ?

And red moly ?

Safe for planted tank ?

Mollys will probably nibble at some of the finer leafed plants as most fish will that eat any vegetable matter will but probably won't do any real damage to your tank as long as they are fed a varied diet. Feed them some veg tabs once in a while will keep their plant nibbling down to a minimum. Guppies and angel like the veggy rounds too.

The gourami eats about the same foods a the molly most plants they don't even try to eat.

First of all, welcome TPT community.
Secondly, your Flame Gourami is just fine. I have 2 Dwarf Gouramis and 2 Opaline Gouramis. The Opaline Gouramis uproot and pick at some of the plants but the Dwarf Gouramis do not. I believe the Flame is closest to my Dwarf Gouramis, just bred selectively for its color.

I do not know about the Molly, so someone else will chime in regarding the Molly.

The one fish that I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole is a Silver Dollar. They will destroy a planted tank.

I just put 2 flames and 2 blues in mine. Came home from work and the plants I put in with the fish are gone and some of the others have the leaves nibbled on and a few are being pulled up. I dont know which are the culprits but they are going back.
