Thinking of selling 2 nano tanks... whole or separate?

As much as I love my two nano tanks I really want to put all of my available money and time into my larger tank. With the addition of new lights and pressurized Co2 the tank is finally coming together.

The two nano tanks that I have are a 2.5 gallon and a 5.5 gallon. Would it be best to sell them as a "set" i.e. tank, filter, substrate, heater, lighting...ect or would it be better to sell them both piece by piece? I'm going to have homes lined up for the Betta boys and all the plants are going into my 55 gallon so it would be only the equipment, tanks, lighting, and substrates.

Thanks for any ideas!

I would sell them as a kit so I would be sure I wouldnt have anything left over.

I'd say sell them as a kit as well.

You could also offer a "package deal" in case there's a person who'd be interested in taking both tanks off your hands.

GL selling them!

If you post them on Craigslist, be sure to repost them every 2 days so they stay at the top of the list Use both "fish tank" and "aquarium" in your text somewhere so ppl will find your ad running either search.

another thing.. make sure you pack them extremely well! I sold 2 nano tanks in the swap n shop and one of them broke in shipping. I had them both packed with alot of bubble wrap and large packing bubbles. still broke!

I agree you should sell them as packaged deals.

As a set would be best. And for the sales pitch make sure to include photos of how the tank looked like when set up, and if anything offer some plants to get the person started.
