Betta Fish jumped out oh no!

Hey guys.
My Betta Fish jumped out of the aquarium while I was not home.
Luckily, my brother put him in, but he says the Betta Fish was flopping and was out for a while.
When he put the Betta Fish in, some of the Betta fish's scales were torn off tjerefore he has fleshy patches of exposed skin of you will. He is just lying there amd I turned off the light to reduce stress.
What should I do?
I have some stress coat lying aroind to help his sli e coat should I put that in?
PLEASE HELP!
THANKS!

If your betta wasn't out for too long he should be ok as Bettas can breathe air directly from the air (they can breathe out of the water) you did the right thing turning the light off to reduce stress but I don't know if you should add the stress coat
