Aq Advisor?

Hi:

Whatever happened to AqAdvisor? Whenever I go there, it is not there anymore. How am I going to know how to stock my tank?

I want to add a tetra and am unsure about it. *feels helpless*

Agreed, all I see are black boxes with grey around them. Then other days I just see a blank white page, not sure what is up with them but I never can connect to the site correctly.

The only times I can are when I go through my phone (which is odd but meh).

EDIT: After another look, it seems like their hosting company has no clue how to use DNS properly. Some people get directed towards "m43blog.com" and others toward the correct "aqadvisor.com".
We can see this by looking at; http://whatmyip.co/browse/sites/1/dn.../dnsii/1167436 (The last DNS change on aqadvisor was done on May 25th, 2014).

A bigger look at the picture is; http://whatmyip.co/info/whois/174.13.../aqadvisor.com

If only they would fix their issues, as it appears to be on their hosting's end (this is why some people see the real page, other do not as it's based on what CDN you are located near).

For the life of me I don't understand why they don't pull up a backup and stop this stupidity.

Probably some Russian Hacker bought the site because of high traffic volume and is making money off the misdirect.

Or it could be................................................ ...................

I read the code. There's a bunch of ad stuff and maybe malware will try to install on your PC. I'm on a Mac so I don't care.

No malware, it's only ads (which funnily enough, don't load). They are basically trying to make it so that you will see ads, regardless of what browser you are on and what extensions/plugins you have to disable them. Hence why there are so maybe "checks" on what your browser has and when the ad gets denied, it goes onto another part of the javascript file to try to load it a different way.

Last week it was a cut and dry misdirect to a fake Java update site, it was like that for two weeks

Specifically, this code, I'm safe. It's calling activeX, which osx does not have.

It works fine for me so why should I clear my cache. If its not broke, don't fix it, lol. Funny thing is that I have not been on that site in a year and right before I saw this post, I was thinking about going there to check on stocking my up coming 90g.....and then I see this thread. Naturally I had to try it out just to see what the buzz was about.
