I have some hairy brown stuffs that grow over some of the balansae leaves and not on other plants. I know it's not hair algae because hair algae is easy to pull. This one seem to stick on the leaves quite hard. What are those hairy stuff? How do I get rid of them?

Acronym alert:

You have BBA which SAE's are A#1 at cleaning up ASAP.

Black brush algae which is actually a red algae

SAE siamese algae eater - a fish, looks a lot like a flying fox when young but isn't

Aquascape? I'm a crypt farmer.

It's a fine line between fishing and standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

That IS an aquascape, it's titled "The Vacant Lot".

It's weird though that they only infest my crypts. I have some hair algae also in my tank but very little. I just started dosing macro last week and helps a bit on the hair algae issue and that bba.
