Question Several questions about new nanocube

Hi all
I just got my 24g nano cube in the mail today. It's pretty cool! I paid $239 at the Dr's this included a stand. My questions...

* It came with a surface skimming grate. Is this needed on a planted tank; pros/cons?

* I'm going to run DIY Co2. Where do you place your Co2 line? There is 1 notch on the back for a heater. Maybe I can squeeze it there and bury the airline between the sponges; therefore, the filtration becomes a reactor. Will this create a vacuum and suck the contents out of my bottle and into the tank?

* The tank came with 2 36w 50/50 lights 7100k/actinic. What number rating (in k's) is an actinic light?

Thanks for your input!
I'll post pics later

www.lightbulbsdirect.com is often cheaper than Ebay.

It's been a while since I priced them out... lemme look again?

www.hellolights.com I think also has good prices, plus there's a discount coupon code in the lounge ATM...

Oh yea- S&H at www.lightbulbsdirect.com is typically only $8.90, but I ended up not going with them personally b/c I needed 4' bulbs, and for those they tack on an additional $4

Can end up a pretty good deal if you're buying multiple bulbs.

Pull a bulb for refrence. I believe those bulbs have the square pin configuration as opposed the the straight pins. Might make it a tad bit more difficult to find bulbs, but you should be able to find them.
