Poly resin decor

Greetings Aqualogists, if that is a word,
I just set up a 35 gallon tank. Lowlight Eclipse. 1 wpg. My question is about poly resin decorations. My wife bought http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752224 a large resin log by Top Fin. Will plants like Anubis root to this? I want to do this right. I would like to use it. It looks great in the tank but it would need plants growing on it to look realistic. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Yep, anubias and moss will stick to it just fine. Might take a little longer than real wood but should work.

Thanks, I'm going to leave it in. I'll post pictures after the planting.
