do you just cut the tops and replant?? how tall should u let it grow before you cut... mine seem to not want to grow tall, they just grow sideways... I imagine it's all the light... anyways, so yeah, I'd like to have a portion of my foreground dedicated to the stuff...

so just cut tops and replant??

thanks

Yup.

Or just cut the tops and let it take its course.

Keep giving it haircuts to try to control it.

will it ever spread out horizontally and attach itself to the substrate... you know to kind of make a carpet effect, or is that only achieved by replanting the tops adjacent to the first plant??

it will sprea out and make a carpet without topping and replanting, it will just take a little longer.

Anyone have any tips for growings this stuff? Mine seems to grow really slow.

30 gallon 2 36" 2x ODNO bulbs
NO3 5-10ppm
PO4 ~1ppm
CO2 ~25ppm
Dose 4ml of PLantex CSM+B every other day (just upped it from 3 ml)
2ml fo Flourish Iron every few days (2 times a week)
Flourite

Like I said, it doesn't seem to grow much at all (unless something is just eating it as fast as it's growing?)

No reason it shouldn't be flourishing in those conditions. Are you sure that's the correct CO2 calculation? Is your dKH reading legitimate? Are your other plants pearling?

Yeah, ad far as I know my Kh is correct. My plants pearl, not abundantly but they do pearl. The pearlweed is really healthy, it just doesn't grow fast. Bright green bush, I trim it like once every 6 weeks or so. At the most. I don't get it.
