mine is now 150cm :shock: tall anyone know how much longer it will get

its not in strong light it hasn't got co2 it all it has is a ball of aqatic compost (clay like soil used in ponds) underneath it
mad about fish is offline

Depends on the species... I have seen some get 5ft long...

The longest ones I have pulled from my 3 foot long tank that's 18 inches tall were about 4 feet, or 120 cm. I wouldn't think yours would get any longer but I could be wrong. You can just clip the longest leaves at the base if you want.

Go with Corkscrew Val. The longest mine have ever gotten was about 18".
I like all my back ground plants to touch the surface without over spreading it and blocking the light. I've dumped a bunch that were just too large for my tanks.

this is a great plant for tall tanks this tank is 90cm tall. this plant is the only plant that really groes in the amount of light this tank gets. my
flag-tail prochilodus (semaprochilodus taeniurus) love swimming through it and down the middle from the top
