Fish Flakes

I'm just wondering if anyone noticed that their fish prefer a certain color of fish flakes than another. Whenever I feed my angelfish red flakes usually remain floating on the surface or on the bottom of the tank. I just got a clown killifish and when he was done eating only red flakes remained.

I've noticed that my Pristella tetras prefer the red flakes, I think that's because when I setup my second tank I filled a small container with food from the larger container kept by the first tank. Some how most of that container got red flakes so they've been accustomed to eating mostly red flakes. I think they'd eat green flakes just as well if that was all they were fed.

My Bleeding Hearts, Cardinals, Glassfish and guppies must all be colorblind. Any food placed in the tank is completely devastated within seconds.
