Root Tabs

Do you guys and gals using Eco-Complete substrate supplement with any root tabs?

Any plant with some or all of it's roots in the sub CAN benefit from root tabs.
NO plant needs them if you have good ferts in the water.
I have one tank/w Eco Complete and no tabs and good growth.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

If the plant is known for being a heavy root feeder like a amazon sword then yes.
