my CO2 system arrived, but how does it go together?

Hi guys,

my CO2 system just arrived from Hong Kong, but there were no instructions and no tubing, so I need a little help putting it together. I bought the bottle from a sporting goods store and the reat off of eBay and here's some pics to help figure the thing out.

1) can someone tell me what size tubing to buy?

2) will this regulator fit on this bottle? I tried several times but I couldn't connect them, maybe I have to push harder? or will they be connectable once the tank is filled (it's empty right now)? or do these two not made for each other.

3) How do I connect the hose to the regulator? I tried pulling up on the black "ring" on the top of the black colored stem.

4) what's a good starting point to set the regulator to?

5) I'm guessing that the bubble counter gos between the regulator and the diffuser with the "nipple" pointing upwards?

6) is the decal on the diffuser supposed to come off or left on?

I'll probably think of more questions as I go....

Thanks in advance for your help!

Todd

I hate to be the one to give you bad news but I don't think those are made for U.S. paintball tanks. You have to buy an adapter, I read an old thread where they say the seller may have it and you can purchase it from them.

Quote from dabay seller...DOES NOT fit with paintball CGA320 cylinder if you need adapter for paintball CGA320 cylinder, please contact us

According to the last picture it does look like it will work but message them just to be safe.

That has a push to connect just push the tube in the hole and it should just hold it in place.

Looks like it take 6mm tubing.

Bubble counter does go between the regulator and tank.

Decal should come off.

the bubble counter and diffuser both connect via a typical compression fitting and the "standard" aquarium tubing that you suggested. I got the silicone tubing

do you mean that the part here circled in red on the regulator that you just push the tubing into?

Intense is what GLA sells. They don't sell the paintball adapter separately.

Does the regulator fit the bottle?

Here's a pic of my 24oz co2 bottle with intense adapters #IT-80250.

If you have airline, use that to setup your co2 system until you get co2 tubing.

Airline will leach it out and harden over time and it's not designed for 30psi.

Co2 cylinders are filled with liquid. Stand them up and use a fire extinguisher hangar or other. They do go through drywall and dent refrigerators.

Cheers!

I have the same bottle.

That bottle has standard North American threads CGA320.

The regulator you have then has Euro-Asian standard threads.

Now you need the pieces I showed in the picture. I just received them from [Ebay Link Removed]
[Ebay Link Removed]

Do you have the grey and blue adapter?

CO2 tubing can be found many places. Search for CO2 Proof Tubing.

16ft of it on amazon for $10 free shipping. I got black to hide it from view.

Cheers!

Hey Webby,

Can you answer another question for me please?

what do I do with the little brass hex bolt head on the side of the valve stem? Do I turn it one way or the other to open the valve (like a BBQ propane tank) or do I just never touch it or something else.

That hex bolt is a safety additive. Don't take a wrench to it, otherwise you will need to take it to someone to get repaired (per the direction I read on a bottle years ago.)

After reading a few post about "Intense" from ebay and gla ones. Still no sure if they are the same thing, I don't know if I would take the risk of getting it lol

From the same seller, they have this adapter ebay item # 140975001018 it would look identical to the one on gla.
